In the past, my wife and I were regular visitors to Demänovská Valley. This region has always offered us rich opportunities for skiing, hiking and cycling trips. We consider Chopok to be the best destination for skiing in Slovakia. This is where the idea of starting a business in the hotel and gastronomy industry was born. Soon, the opportunity arose and we accepted this challenge. We implemented the idea and in 2009 we opened our newly built Penzión DRAK, gradually finding our place in the market, a clear sense and creating our business philosophy.
We named it after the legend of a dragon that had its “home” in one of the Demänovská caves.

The family room is an ideal choice for families, thanks to two separate rooms and the possibility of accommodation from one to five people. It offers enough space and privacy for a comfortable stay in a pleasant mountain environment.

The spacious apartment with two separate bedrooms offers comfortable accommodation for four guests, with the possibility of an extra bed for a fifth person. The balcony with a view is an ideal place for morning coffee or evening relaxation.
